So called because on this one Tuesday a total of 14 States deliver their vote on the candidate they want to represent them.

Michael
Bloomberg despite spending all this money came nowhere and pulled out of the
race. He entered the race three months ago and left it yesterday.

In a
statement Mr Bloomberg said: “three months
ago, I entered the race for president to defeat Donald Trump. Today, I am
leaving the race for the same reason”.

I do not impugn Mr Bloomberg’s motive but take it at face value but
would add I am pleased he did not succeed because presidential power should not
be available for sale.

The incumbent used his money to secure the 2016 presidential election but at least Donald Trump came into the race from the very start, stumbled a number of times but continued to the very end defeating all and sundry to become president.

Michael Bloomberg only came into the race recently and thought his extraordinary
wealth would make him succeed.

The half billion dollars could have done so much good for literally millions
of people in the poorest places of the world.

According to Water Wells for Africa (WWFA), the average cost of a well, though dependent on materials, labour wages, depth of the well, type of pump and remoteness of the village is $8,000 USD in a country like Malawi and Mozambique.

This
figure includes more than drilling a hole and installing a pump.

According to WWFA the
cost of the well also includes the provision of information and training to the
village on matters of hygiene and sanitation.

The training is
essential for the well to continue functioning, and without hygienic
practices, clean water is much less effective at reducing health
issues because people are still exposing themselves to disease.

Each well serves 2,000 people. That means it costs $4.00 to give a person clean water and help them live long and live better. Is that expensive? Not by any means. For every latte ordered at Star Bucks, WWFA could use that money to supply a person with clean water for 20 years. Imagine what could have been done with $500, 000, 000.

Simon the Sorcerer in
Acts 8 in the bible offered money to buy spiritual power and was firmly rebuked
by Apostle Peter. The apostle told him: “thy money perish with
thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with
money.21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this
matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. 22 Repent
therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine
heart may be forgiven thee. 23 For I perceive
that thou art in the gall of bitterness and in the bond of iniquity”.

After receiving such
a firm rebuke and fearing the consequences, Simon pled for mercy and repented.

I do hope Michael
Bloomberg reflects much upon the money he wasted and help the world’s poorest
with some of the many billions he still has. I will be praying that his
conscience trouble him and he makes amends before it’s too late.

Our platform is the world and congregation the people.

The Lord’s servant

Lloyd Denny

“POWER NOT FOR SALE” Michael Bloomberg, the multi billionaire pulled out of the running to become the Democratic Party candidate for the presidential election in November 2020 after spending half billion dollars or $500, 000,000 on the campaign.
